A small-batch sourdough bakery called Downright Breads recently moved into the space right next to our kitchen in West Haven. After getting to know each other (and trying some incredible baked goods), we decided to collaborate so Honeyplate customers can now enjoy their baking alongside their weekly meals.

Downright Breads is run by Soledad, the baker and founder who is truly the heart and hands behind the business.
With over 10 years of experience in the baking industry, Downright Breads has become her most meaningful project — built around the belief that quality bread should be a staple in every community.
From their commercial kitchen in West Haven to local farmers markets across the Greater New Haven area, Downright Breads focuses on wholesome ingredients, traditional sourdough baking, and food made with care.
